About Me

19 year old travel photographer

My Passion

When I was just 12 years old, I loved taking pictures for memories on every family vacation. As I got a little older, I discovered that photos could be art, and I began to learn more on my own and practice more every time I went somewhere new. In high school I took some courses and it later became my focus in my college career. I am currently attending Southern Utah University in the heart of the american southwest, where the opportunities for photography and adventure are endless. I am learning more every day and growing my social media accounts to eventually turn my passion into a career.

My Background

I grew up in Yardley, Pennsylvania, about an hour outside of Philadelphia. I never really understood how much I loved living there until I left. I love the local farms, and having cities and the beach only a short drive away.

I am of filipino descent, so learning about my culture and background, as well as others, has always been very important to me. For me, one of the most valuable parts about traveling is experiencing other people’s cultures and the way that they live because everywhere in the world is so different. I think it’s so important to be open minded about the world instead of living in our own little bubbles.

my goal

I am only beginning my journey as a travel photographer, but I am hoping to be able to share my adventures, photos, and experiences with others, as well as inspire people to go out and enjoy everything the world has to offer. I have always loved the outdoors so I will continue exploring new places and documenting them on my blog. I will be posting tips and other information that I learn from my personal travel experiences.

My favorite trip

My favorite trip so far was a group volunteer trip to Peru. It was my first time traveling alone, which made it even more special to me. I was able to experience what it was like to live in Peru by staying in a small town in the Sacred Valley called Ollantaytambo. I had the opportunity to learn all about the food and culture of Peru, as well as see the beauty of the Andes mountains during a hiking and rafting excursion. I also got to participate in a group volunteer project that included building a volleyball court and a garden at a girl’s school in the town. Through all of this, I made new friends, connections, and memories that I will never forget.
